Documentation; Humans had started documenting history and daily life since 3200 BCE in Egypt. It allows the descendants to understand what happened in the past and learn from the past. Humans have never stopped to invent different ways to capture the moments into visual images, allowing us to see an image which describes the past without languages. Hence, the camera existed. With nowadays technology, we observe the world through the image the cameras captured. It’s controlling what they want us to see and not see, things to be seen and unseen. But it never lied. Lens pointing at the truth and captured by the sensor or film. It unveils the untold truth, the corruptions behind the iron wall to the world without a language barrier. Hence it became a weapon, a weapon that powers are afraid of. Yet, it could be a weapon that causes troublesome. It breaks the curtains of privacy, invading into people’s lives like parasites. Swaying away from the true purpose of the invention.
